White Water Rafting .

The Barapole Experience has no parrallels in terms of river technicals, white water rapids, rapids gradations, river course, the scenic environment & the management and safety standards adhered to every monsoon.

The river Barapole is perhaps one of the very few rivers in the south which becomes a natural waterbody because of the monsoon & hence there goes in, a great deal of recce's, preperation & management to ensure our paying white water river rafting enthusiasts have a safe & absolutely amazing experience.

There are approximately 4 to 5 rapids in the regular section & about 6 to 7 rapids in the lower section, these rapids depending on water levels are between grade 2 to 3 or 4, though what is reccommended for amateur rafting enthusiasts is only upto a maximum of grade 3 or lower levels – primarily because of maintaing safety & enjoying a adventure that is great fun & is an experience for all.

It is important to be of good health, people with aqua phobia & weak hearts are not recommended for this activity. Children are allowed if they are 12yrs & above.

The knowledge of swimming is not a stipulated requirement & safety vests provided by the program managers are absolutely drown-proof-in fact you'll be safer here than on the street.

A typical rafting expedition starts with rafting related command following & understanding exercises, rafting orientation in the river, understanding team dynamics & finally - the most awesome run on the river in your raft over amazing white rapids.

This white water experience guarantees to blow your mind!!.

Minimum group size is 6 or 8 pax & above [if you need to be exclusive on the raft].

River Crossing .

Adventure enthusiast's are also offered a very exciting ‘River Crossing' experience in the same location.

This can be a post or pre-rafting experience is again not common stuff but one that promises the edge of the seat adventure, with the highest standards of safety & experience.

Typically, this is a zip line feature & is reccommended for groups of a minimum 15 pax & above.
